Most anything impressive I've done that isn't a poem or short story is here. You can click the story link over on the left to get to those. My collection of work encompasses a lot of different capacities and sources over years of time, so the notes will be as much for my own benefit as for that of any observer.
Elpee is a hobby (barely even) that requires no small amount of preparation, awareness, and patience with all aspects of publishing videos to the internet. As soon as you take the camcorder out of the picture and aim capture software at a screen, you invite every little untoward thing into your work to make it go all horribly wrong. This is called the LP curse. So sure, I am proud of this stuff. It is actually hard enough to be a worthy challenge.
If you don't know what LP is, the content here probably won't make any sense at all.
Come to think of it, it probably won't make much sense anyway. The big idea in brief is to play games to entertain the internet. A good LP is informative, exploratory, and funny. It takes an outrageous amount of dedication and even courage considering the payoff: at best nothing and at worst humiliation and scorn.
For better or worse I designed some panels and arranged them in a sequence, resulting in several serialized polytychs. Yeah I made a webcomic and posted it in a blog. Horrid, I know. It involved a lot of pulling spline points around and whining. I oughtta link to it somewhere from my site, and as listed under evidence of my creative work it suffices. Perhaps it can even entertain.
Other vector-pulling works of mine include the posters I've designed. Many of these were ultimately design-by-committee and a lot of the creative choices were out of my hands. See if you can spot where I worked some of my own style in anyway.
Then there are single, unthemed works I've pulled together. Each served a purpose, sure, but none the same.
