It's true, I have an older brother named David Staniunas. He decided to paint and put some images of his work online. He has a site of his own that you may have been looking for in the first place. www.gallostan.net

There are old and foul things out there on the internet. Mostly just silly old things. For one who has seen everything, seen it all, a website of one's own and a lock on the door is natural, and for my sanity, he didn't include any of the old foul things that he's seen. Okay, really for his sanity. www.proteankungfu.com

Though I prefer to believe that I made myself, and therefore cannot be unmade, sometimes I have to humble myself enough to recognize others who were involved in my own origins. High school was a hell of a time for all of us. Learn more about a friend of mine whose talent with editing and direction are potent: http://www.myspace.com/s1th
There will be music if your speakers are on. It is music I like.

Though I knew her as Thing, she knows herself another way. I met her in Old Lyme, and she turned me down in Nashua and in Fredricksburg. Her website is one of writing focus, as a writer she is. In a way I have her to thank for my own website and desire to fill it with content. And for irony. Oh the irony: www.christinemurray.net

Since they caught me on camera, I may as well throw them a link: evidence that I have, in fact, been to the Rocky Horror Picture Show in Fairfax: http://users.cjb.net/notyetknown/blah38.html

Maybe you have a hyperlink to this one already: www.clarkson.edu and I highly recommend you skip that and go to www.clarkson.edu/projects/crcd/ and follow along with particles.

Diablo 2 is an easily misunderstood and abused game. The system is the finest reflection of classic Dungeons and Dragons action ever to come to computer. The Arreat Summit is the best source of news and information about the game, even if all the news is a year old: www.battle.net/diablo2exp/ Blizzard's route is www.battle.net and covers information and patches about purchased games. They will sell you things at www.blizzard.com among them some of the finest games ever produced. The starcraft site is worth mention here, too: www.battle.net/scc so badass a webpage.

The Ogura Hyakunin Isshu is a collection of one hundred poems from one hundred poets, all who use the same form. This is taken from an era in ancient Japan where decorum is king. Every word has its proper place. More interesting than the poems are the translations to english, in which the translators made painful efforts to keep the 5-7-5-7-7 form, often to success. Such is the power of decorum: http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/japanese/hyakunin/ I recommend the "with frames" option. The site may ask you to download and install some language files, which is worthwhile even if you do not read kanji (like me) to preserve the aesthetic.

Check out a former (and I would say current) professor of mine named Joe Deumer. Prof. Deumer is a big inspiration to me to make and maintain this website, and has a substantial collection of his own work. He tends to be more journalistic on his website, always writing news in well categorized headings. Buy his books. http://sharpsand.net/. You can see his former weblog at http://www.chujoe.net.

I owe Roanoke College a shout out at least, and attendance and ceremony at best. In a way they paid for my education so far. I have childhood memories of sitting, slightly ill, in one of my mom's classes doodling and not understanding a word she said. The college girls thought I was cute when I was in kindergarten, anyway. I couldn't even spell my own last name then. www.roanoke.edu the school is really in Salem. Go figure.

Infinite Kung Fu reads exactly like a comic book installment of a cheesy kung fu movie should. Going above and beyond mere storytelling, McLeod adds much to the kung fu watching experience. The commentary found after the story in each issue about kung fu movies you may have seen (or really should not bother with...Double Dragon...) is particularly excellent. I have no doubt that the man understands what makes a kung fu movie good, like Against the Drunken Cat Paws, and what makes it awful, like Magnificent Butcher. You can order his books with a clean conscience, too: http://www.kaganmcleod.com/infinitekungfu/

Anyone who shows me that they have an internet personality as well is likely to show up in my links section in some way or another. Devon made the cut, and I decided to throw her into one of my news updates too. Though I don't remember which one exactly. Happy link hunting! http://www.livejournal.com/users/yoshimi84/
