Rains blew in from the northwest this morning across a desolate north country. The students of Clarkson University have left in droves for greener, more fragrant pastures while I sit in the usual stink; the wind blowing over me. Fortunately the wind brought with it a shower of raindrops and people. By mid-afternoon the campus body was visible, if skeletal. The weekend looks to be more of the same, and with many Campus services, bagels, shutting down I am left to accomplish my work in peace. In particular I have contracted a friend to create an entry for my Mad Science heading, which will be its first ever. Other entries will include specifications for inventions that I think are good but will never make it, and records and descriptions of pranks.
