INSTRUCTIONS: How to Walk
We will start with the left foot. I presume you know how to transport yourself from one place to the next by moving your feet. This is not walking, and you will shortly learn exactly what is. With your left foot, step softly and find wherever it falls. This piece of ground underneath your foot is dirty. If paved, you can be sure that foul deeds went into its production. All the works of men have this taint, and it is nothing inherent. Those in power demand sacrifices of those beneath them. Money exchanges hands for this, and again to make the roads, paving them with the sacrifices of the innocent. There is no money you will use in your life that has seen only crimeless ways, for this you can never claim innocence, only regret. With your left foot, you softly transfer regret to the ground you step on. You feel remorse for the blood of the powerless on whom you walk.
With your right foot, follow it, and step lightly. You step lightly because you will attract too much attention if you are loud, and that will be no good for what you must do. Those in power, or ambitious to claim it, have polluted the materials you buy, use, and even step on. The dirt beneath your feet would be clean if not for them. With your right foot you steady your stand so you do not become an ambitious killer of men. You transmit to the ground your anger and determination when you step.
In your walk is peace and justice. How you walk is a matter of the basics. Left. Right. Left. Right. Left...
